The
central canopy over the main entrance, in addition
to smaller ones at each side, were fabricated and
produced by Eltherington from silver Alcobond. The
soffit panels, which sloped in two directions, were
fitted onto a purpose-made Alcobond sub frame.
Above
the canopy, the balcony has a glazed curtain wall framed
by panels fabricated by Eltherington and
powder coated in black prior to fixing to the substructure.
Completing Eltherington’s contribution, brushed
stainless steel frames for the giant advertising posters
were produced to complement the mirrored effect dominating
the front of the cinema.

Cale Cross Development – Newcastle-Upon-Tyne,
England:
This highly decorative feature was created
using Reynobond Alcoa 4mm aluminium sheet, each panel
incorporating
a structural stiffening system.
The champagne metallic
PVDF paint finish is proven to be one of the finest
for longevity.

Office Development – Liverpool Dock
Side, England:
Composite
panels complemented the curtain wall system, which
were formed using aluminium/steel materials,
polyester powder coated with a marine environment
grade RAL 7040 contract grey. Each panel was reinforced
with a PVCu compression strip and insulated to the
necessary thermal requirements of the building.
Eltherington was chosen for its help with the design
process and competitive pricing policy. As part
of the package, Eltherington produced insulated soffits,
fascias and corner panels.
